Microsoft 365 Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer

As a Microsoft 365 Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, your role will consist of technical pre-sales as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Secure Modern Work Platform. The ideal candidate will have ample understanding and experience in solutions pre-sales for Identity, Productivity, Security and Mobility workloads within the suite. You will address opportunities by identifying and understanding business and technical problems, scoping requirements, and designing effective solutions to meet our customer's goals.

You will work in a technical team in partnership and close collaboration with Account Executives, Account Managers, and other subject matter experts from different technical areas within our organization, helping our Commercial, Education, Financial Services and Public Sector clients achieve their secure digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical pre-sales role specialized in Microsoft cloud technologies
  • Strategic partner to our own sales organization and account managers, partnering with them through different customers opportunities.
  • Be an evangelist of UDT solutions and participate in activities related to go to market campaigns, including presentations, demos and ask the expert sessions.
  • Lead technical consultant and a reliable, dependable advisor for our prospects and customers for the entire solution sales cycle, starting from scoping, including design, architecture, evaluation of use cases and fits for our solutions.
  • Conduct technical scoping sessions with our customer's technical team members, to identify and understand stated and unstated problems, and collect detail technical information required for developing solutions
  • Conduct technical product presentations and product demos, highlighting the core solution or product features, and emphasizing the technical and business value.
  • Adapt customer set of business and technical requirements into a winning solution
  • Identify customer's technical decision makers and influencers, build trust and partnerships with them to position our solutions and enable our customers for success with a business outcome mindset.
  • Display your ability to solve complex problems and present the resolution in a clear and concise fashion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exhibit deep functional, technical, specialized knowledge and fluent demonstration experience in Microsoft cloud offerings.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales Consulting role related to Professional Services practice deliverables.
  • 5+ years of experience designing Microsoft Productivity stack: Office 365 Productivity including Hybrid Identity, Azure Active Directory Premium, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune. Implementation experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience designing Microsoft Security stack: DLP, AIP, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoints, Microsoft Cloud App Security. Implementation experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience designing Azure Infrastructure including Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Virtual Machines, Application Service, SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database. Implementation experience is a plus
  • Understanding of Defender for Cloud stack, Sentinel, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor.
  • Understanding of Azure Infrastructure including Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Virtual Machines, Application Service, SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database is a plus.
  • Understanding of Azure Networking including VNets routing topologies, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Azure Load Balancers, Azure Web Application Firewall is a plus.
  • Microsoft 365 Role-Based certifications required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff
  • Ability to work effectively on a team as well as an individual contributor
  • Experience scoping requirements for client opportunities as a subject matter expert in your area
  • Experience collaborating with a team of engineers through development and validation of complex migrations and / or implementation designs
  • Experience delivering RFP / RFI responses, within your area of expertise and in collaboration with other areas of the organization
  • Conscientious with an internal and external customer centric mentality, collaborating with our own sales organization to set and maintain expectations and deliverable deadlines
  • Experience with writing Statements of Work (SOW) representing the solution devised from the scoping requirements
  • Experience working with IT vendors and sub-contractors
  • Experience using CRM platforms for the execution of SOWs and tracking progress of sales opportunities
